Agentic AI

Automate your work with Enterprise AI Agents

Work rarely arrives with an instruction manual. Argonos Agents reason through what a task needs, calling other agents where it helps, and take it as far as your scope allows.

Agents, grounded and ready to work

  • Find everything for the request

Argonos is connected to your systems of record alongside your documents and collaboration tools. An agent works out which of them a request reaches before it starts.

  • Reasoning you can follow

Reasoning over the original records, with linked citations. Your teams see the route the agent took and the records that formed the decision.

  • As far as your scope allows

Agents work where your teams already work, drawing on the same permissioned index your people do. They hand back for approval at the point you set, or complete the task where you permit it.

  • Stay inside your lines

Permissions come from your source systems, and every action is logged. An agent reaches what you allow it to reach, and stops where you define.

USE CASES

Specialist work, when your teams need it

Argonos agents take on the work that used to wait for a specialist, across every system it reaches.

Plant, supplier, and service

Questions from engineers, suppliers, and the field land differently across PLM, ERP, and the quality system. An agent works out what’s needed, sources included.

  • Warranty root cause: the returned part, supplier, and build evidence behind this claim
  • Repair guidance: the diagnostic history and field notes behind this fault
  • Supplier escalation: what a quality issue on this part exposes
  • New requirement: what already exists that meets this spec

Quality, medical, and clinical

Site, regulator, or field questions draw on records across LIMS, QMS, and the eTMF, version-specific. An agent works out which apply, sources included.

  • Medical information: the approved answer to a clinical question
  • Signal review: what prior cases say about this event
  • Site question: what applies to this protocol, site, and version
  • Comparability: what the data says across these two processes

Program, depot, and sustainment

Deployed-system question, records across programs, suppliers, legacy systems, same part under three numbers, an agent works out what applies to this build, plan attached.

  • Configuration question: what this serial actually shipped with
  • Technical query: what the data supports for this operating condition
  • Repair disposition: what the history and the contract say about repair or replace
  • Obsolescence: the qualified alternates and the programs a change touches

Client, analyst, and operations

A question about a client or a position can land as much in correspondence as in a record, across the CRM, the core systems, and the mailbox. An agent works out where the answer sits and brings it back with its sources.

  • RFP response: the performance, policy, and legal answers this questionnaire needs
  • Client review prep: what has changed on this relationship since the last one
  • Covenant question: what this agreement allows, and whether the borrower still complies
  • Alert disposition: what prior cases say about this pattern

What our clients say

Reliable means grounded, permissioned, traceable.

  • Grounded in your knowledge

Argonos agents retrieve from your own knowledge through Advanced RAG, sourced, not guessed.

  • Permissions-aware by default

Agents are permissions-aware. They can only access information that the person they are acting for can see.

  • Fully logged, fully traceable

Every action gets logged: what it read, what it decided, where it stopped.

Agents

Understanding enterprise AI agents

What is an enterprise AI agent

An enterprise AI agent is software that plans, retrieves, and prepares multi-step work toward a goal inside a company’s own systems. Unlike a fixed script, it adapts to what it actually finds. Unlike a chatbot, it doesn’t stop at an answer: it carries a task through to a result, and hands off for approval wherever the organization sets the line.

Argonos Agents is Argonos’s implementation of this. Work rarely arrives with an instruction manual, and most of it lives across several systems that were never built to talk to each other. An Argonos Agent works out what a given request needs, pulls from the systems that hold it, and takes the task as far as the organization’s own scope allows.

What separates Argonos Agents from an assistant, and from a script

An assistant answers a question, nothing more. An Argonos Agent carries a task all the way through to a result: it plans the steps a goal requires, retrieves what it needs, decides the next move based on what it finds, and checks its own output before handing anything over. Plan, retrieve, decide, check. That loop is what makes it an agent rather than a chat window with a longer memory.

It’s not automation dressed up in new language either. A script runs the same sequence no matter what it’s fed, and breaks the moment reality stops matching what it was written to expect. An agent adapts instead. Give it a part number that carries a different revision in the ERP than in the PLM, and it reconciles the two rather than failing silently on the wrong assumption.

Grounding is the difference between an agent and a liability

Leave an LLM (large language model) unconnected to a company’s own knowledge, and it hallucinates confidently from its training data instead, whether the answer is right or not. Retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) fixes this. The agent retrieves from the organization’s actual systems before it reasons, and every answer carries a citation back to where it came from.

Skip that step, and an agent handed a part number will produce a plausible revision history with no relationship to the one that actually exists. Add it, and the answer becomes something you can check instead of something you just have to trust.

Agentic AI use cases, by industry

Manufacturing and energy

A warranty claim, a supplier escalation, a new requirement against an existing spec: each one used to sit and wait for the one engineer who could piece together PLM, ERP, and quality-system records by hand. An agent works out what the specific case needs and pulls it directly, sourced. Organizations running this report faster resolution on the work that used to bottleneck on a single specialist, and fewer decisions made on a record nobody had time to check.

Life sciences

A site question, a signal review, a comparability check across two processes: the answer usually depends on which protocol version and which site the question actually applies to, buried across LIMS, QMS, and the eTMF. An agent resolves the version-specific answer and attaches the record it came from, so a regulatory or quality team spends less time reconciling systems and more time deciding.

Aerospace and defense

The same part can carry three different numbers across a program’s systems and a program’s decades. A configuration question, a repair-or-replace disposition, an obsolescence check: an agent works out what applies to this specific build and attaches the supporting record, instead of a technician cross-referencing three legacy systems by hand.

Financial services

A covenant question, an RFP response, an alert disposition: the answer often sits as much in correspondence as in a structured record, split across the CRM, core systems, and a mailbox. An agent finds where the answer actually lives and brings it back with its sources, cutting the time a relationship manager or an analyst spends reconstructing context before they can act.

What a buyer should ask before trusting an agent with real work

Four questions decide whether an agent platform is ready for production, not a demo:

  • Is it grounded? Does every answer trace back to a real record, or could the agent be reasoning from its training data instead?
  • Does it respect access rights? Can the agent only reach what the person it’s acting for could already see?
  • Can a person take back control? Does the agent hand off for approval at the point the organization sets, rather than deciding on its own past that point?
  • Would it survive an audit? Is there a log of what it read, what it produced, what it decided, and where it stopped?

Argonos Agents answers yes to all four by construction, not as an afterthought. Every action is permissioned by the source system, logged, and traceable back to the record that informed it.

What changes when agents are built this way

At Cummins, Argonos Agents runs across the company’s engineering digital thread. Oliver Scott Beard, Principal Technical Architect for AI Systems, reports faster innovation, reduced rework, and a more agile response to market and regulatory demands, with work velocity up 20 percent since deployment.

That gain follows a pattern organizations report consistently: faster resolution on work that used to sit and wait for a specialist, less rework from decisions made on records nobody had time to check properly, and a foundation reused rather than rebuilt from zero every time a new agent goes live. Any figure for a new deployment still needs validating against this organization’s own baseline in a pilot before it counts as a target here.

The question worth asking of any Argonos Agent deployment was never whether the demo impresses. It’s whether the agent is grounded in real knowledge, permissioned correctly, and traceable enough to survive an audit. Everything else follows from those three things.
